Installing a VM in vSphere is very similar to how you would go about doing it in a type-2 hypervisor. You need to have the ISO images available, configure the hardware and then install the OS. One main difference you'll notice between Proxmox and vSphere is that you are not able to do a direct download of the ISO to the type-1 hypervisor through the web interface. So, the first step is downloading the ISO you want to your personal computer, and then uploading that ISO image to the server.
In the demo I use vCenter server to installing a VM. I used MX Linux for my VM OS. I show how to upload the ISO image, configure the hardware for the VM and install the OS.
