Module 5

This module we will look at learning about how to use Proxmox. Proxmox is a free open source type-1 hypervisor. You can purchase a subscription, but we will just use the community edition (CE). The CE is free and provides updates. Though, we will need to do some tweaks to get these updates (don't worry, I will show you how).  Proxmox is a great way for you to continue to learn about VMs and run a type-1 hypervisor. If you have an old system that is no longer being used I'd suggest trying to setup Proxmox on it for this module. If you do not have an old computer system do not worry, you can still run Proxmox as  VM in a type-2 hypervisor (I suggest using VMware Workstation or Fusion).
