Module 3

During this module we will learn the basics about virtual machines (VMs) and focus of type-2 hypervisors.  With focusing on the basics of VMs we will learn about virtual machine hardware and installing virtual machines in a type-2 hypervisor. We will also learn how and why  to export a VM and how and why we should clone a VM. We will also learn how to perform taking a snapshot of a VM and what is a snapshot. 

I know we are only focusing on type-2 hypervisors, but these concepts are important as we will see them again when we look at type-1 hypervisors. 

1. Install a VM in a type-2 hypervisor → LO #1

2. Understand VM hardware and how to configure it → LO #1

3. Demonstrate how to take a snapshot of a VM → LO #3

4. Demonstrate how to export a VM → LO #3
